Greetings Internet!
Last week has been a "I hate everything"-one.
Monday explains itself, on Tuesday I had to write an English test (had to write 180 minutes about US immigrants) and there was a rail strike.
Again.
It was like the 8th strike in 10 weeks or so?
As I'm from a small village and as I don't have a driver's license I depend on trains.
So that's why I had some kind of a three-days-holiday last week which I spent revising for my French and German tests. Ugh. Still not feeling well-prepared tbh
Anyway, on Wednesday, day 1 of my three-days-holiday I had the pleasure of receiving a small Amazon parcel and an envelope.
I was a bit confused as I hadn't ordered anything from Amazon for a while but at the same time, I was curious about what's inside so I opened the envelope at first.
And found 2 Instax films.
I have to be honest: I almost started crying tears of joy.
You need to know that I didn't have an Instax then. I only asked my dad if we still had our old polaroid camera but he told me it was broken so then I asked him to look around and tell me how much Instax' are in shops and I'd then decide whether I should get one in a store or online.
You can probably guess what I found in the parcel.
A Fujifilm instax mini 8.
So that was the moment when I actually started crying haha
The Amazon parcel was well padded and the instax itself was put in bubble wrap just like the batteries.
The instant films were delivered in a envelope that had bubble wrap on the inside.
None of the items arrived damaged.
But I don't know if the camera works as I haven't tried it yet.
Instax films are expensive and I'm saving them for my 5SOS concert next week haha
Anyway, I guess it'll work just fine :)
So that's my new baby along with my two Nikons and a Canon haha :)
Do you own an instax or even an old polaroid camera?
I wish our old one would still work.
I used to love taking pics with it when I was a child.
X
