// (Easter) Shopping Haul

Hey Internet,

I've got to be honest: I wanted to post this blogpost somewhen last week but as school started again, I barely had time to do anything beside homework and I woke up really early today (at 6am. What the pug is wrong with me ew) and did my homework for the next week and now I'm a free elf.
And I finally have enough time for blogging again. YAS!

As the title says, this will be a haul about some things I bought during the Easter holidays and before you guys start forejudging me: I saved money for this occasion and the Easter bunny was very generous this year :)

So, during the holidays, Anika and I went to Berlin as we wanted to get some clothes for our 5SOS concert in 27 days.
Let me just say one thing: I ended up buying a lot of things, just not for the concert. Ugh.

Anyway, I should start now haha

And the first thing I'm going to show you is a product that has been on my wishlist for such a long time but I've always been too thrifty.
The excuse I was telling myself was that I'm getting this myself as an Easter present haha

And it's the Urban Decay Naked 3.
It's beautiful.
The shades are awesome and you can wear them all day. When you're off to school, in the afternoon or when you go clubbing.
Along with my smashbox contour kit and my mac lipsticks it's probably my fave beauty product haha

UD Naked 3 - 47.99€

And of course we went to Primark.
I wanted to get a makeup bag for school and I ended up using it as a pencilcase haha
It's just too cute.
I bought a shirt, a sweater and two pairs of shoes as well haha
And a new choker that I'm going to wear at the wedding next month :)

Makeup bag - 4€
Choker - 2.50€
Polka Body Mist - 3.50€ <- I RECOMMEND THIS SO MUCH HAHA

T-Shirt "Brad Leo Ryan Zac Channing" - 10€

Sweater "is it the weekend yet?" - 9€
I love this one so much.
The sheer fabric makes it a perfect top for spring days when the sun is hiding behind the clouds.

Round sunglasses with matte frame - 2.50€

Trainers - 13€

Trainers - 13€

Let's take a look at what I bought when we went to Mac and Lush :)

Space Girl bathbomb - 3.95€

Grease Lightning Spot Treatment - 9.95€
Unfortunately, I don't recommend this at all as it doesn't help.
But I'll continue using it.
Still hoping it'll help someday haha

I had a bit of a MAC binge during the holidays.
As you may know, I love everything that's MAC (even their foundation matches my skintone, wow!)
So when my grandma asked me, what I wanted for Easter I said a new lippy and a lipliner.
And when she said it'd be okay if I ordered them I was beyond surprised, as MAC is a bit expensive.
But anyway, that day I ordered a lipstick and a lipliner.
Brave, which is a rosy nude for 20€ and Plum, a brownish red lipliner for 16€
When we went to Berlin, I couldn't help but buy another lipstick and two lipliners.
I went to every MAC store or shop that had a MAC counter as I was looking for Velvet Teddy until someone told me it was sold out worldwide.
Ugh.
But I found Honey Love (20€) instead.
And I'd say it's my fave nude lipstick so far.
It has a matte finish and is neither too dark nor too light.
I love wearing it together with the Whirl lipliner (16€) for the ultimate Kylie Jenner lips haha
And I bought the Soar lipliner (16€) which I'm going to wear along with Brave.

Left: Brave
Right: Honey Love

Swatches from left to right: Brave, Honey Love, Whirl, Soar, Plum

// Easter holidays

Greetings, people of the Internet!

I just wanted to tell you guys I'm finally on holidays again (YAS!)
but I'm going to spend some days at my grandma's and there's no wifi...
I don't even know how I'm supposed to survive this...
But I've got my phone with me so slow Internet is better than no Internet, I guess.
Anyway, just wanted to tell you why there won't be new posts during the next 6-7 days :)

I found some nice pics I took during spring last year and decided to upload them since the weather sucks a lot this week.
It even started snowing today. Ugh.

See you in a few days

// Review: essence - How To Make Brows Wow

Hello once again, lovely Internet!

I haven't uploaded a proper product review for ages now so I thought it's about time for changing this.
This review will be about the eyebrow kit "How to make brows wow" by essence.
I bought it a few weeks ago as I thought I should give essence another chance after proving me their quality changed for the better during the past 5 years and I needed a new eyebrow powder.

Hi Internetmenschen!

The packaging is really cute. It's a small box with tiger stripes on the outside and on the inside, there's a small mirror as well as paw prints.
There are three eyebrow powder shades called "love blondes", "love 'em all" and "love brunettes" as well as a highlighter called "lift me up!".
I'm filling in my eyebrows with either "love 'em all" or "love brunettes" as my eyebrows are a bit dark and these shades make my eyebrows look a bit more natural and less drawn on than the other powder I used before.

// Glasgow Shopping Haul

Hello Internet!

Today's post will be all about the amazing things I bought during my days in Glasgow.

I saved some money for this occasion and I think I spent it really well.

This will be kinda short and if you guys want me to write a review on any of these products let me know. You can either comment, tell me on Insta (@cobains_mxth) or send me an email (thebloggingone@outlook.com) :)

You'll now get to see see the things I bought, where I bought them and how much they were.
After a huge wave of pictures I'll comment on some things :)

24 Sharpies: WHS|£8,49

GOSH Cosmetics Foundation + Mascara: Sea Shop|Forgot the price

I'm going to start with the GOSH cosmetics makeup.
I bought those two things because I forgot my makeup bag when we left our coach in order to enter the ferry and I hate being around people when I'm not wearing makeup.
I went straight upstairs and headed to the seashop, took a foundation and a mascara and when I wanted to pay for them, the saleswoman told me there's that special offer that when you buy 2 GOSH products you'd get a free makeup bag.
I love makeup bags.
I just didn't know that there was a surprise inside until I sat down somewhere and took a look at the bag.
It had a blush, nailpolish, lipstick and an eyeliner inside. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?
The colours are awesome, except for the eyeliner. It's like turquoise and I don't think I'm ever going to wear it :D

Another special offer were the Sharpies.
They usually are about £17 but they had that offer at WH Smith that if you buy anything, you'd get them for £8,49.
So I decided to get a TARDIS key tag as well :D

And I am aware that the Real Technique Core Collection kit is a bit cheaper at Superdrug, but when I saw them at Boots I didn't feel like going back to Superdrug just for those brushes.
Plus the difference is only like £1 or so.

That's it for today.
If you want me to write a review on any of these products (even on the turquoise eyeliner) feel free to tell me :)

BTW, my reviews will be in English and in German from now on :)

// Trip to Glasgow

Hey Internet,

I'm back from a very short school trip to Glasgow/Scotland and let me just say one thing:
I think I fell in love with Scotland.
It's such a picturesque country and the people there are so nice and aaaah!
I can't wait to go back.

It took us a while to get there since we went to Scotland by bus and ferry but it wasn't as exhausting as I thought it would be.
We even had cabins on the ferry where we could get some sleep while we were waiting for our arrival in Amsterdam and Newcastle.
They were really small, especially the bathrooms but luckily, I'm not claustrophobic.

The only thing I didn't like about this school trip was that I didn't get to take as many pictures as I wanted to as we drove by a lot of beautiful, mystical and magical landscapes such as waterfalls in the woods and breathtaking cliffs.
So that's why I'll have to go back on my own once I have my driver's licence.

Now sit back, relax, and enjoy some of the pictures I took during the last week :)
The next post will probably be a haul about the things I bought in Glasgow :)

All pictures were taken by me with my Nikon D3200 or my iPhone :)

Do you have a favourite country?
Which one?
Mine are probably England and Scotland :)

// Life isn't always a bowl of cherries

Hello Internet!

This will be my very first "venting"-post as a lot of things happened during the past weeks, months and years and I somehow have that voice in my head telling me to write about it.
Long story short: This will be a long text and only one or two pics in the end haha

I don't even know why I'm blogging about this and I know a lot of people will say I should have kept things to my mind but wanna know a secret? I kept a lot of things to myself for too long and at some point, it feels like everything just adds up to a huge blanket of self-doubts and sadness and you become some sort of a human burrito.
Have you ever seen a human burrito?
Nope, you haven't.
And that's why human burritos feel alone.

Okay, I know nothing of the above made sense but if you somehow got the point, we should probably talk.
We'd be great friends.

The main reason why I'm writing this is probably my mother's 2nd wedding. She's going to get married to her boyfriend in May (One day before my 5SOS concert. How great is that...). They'd been together for about 12 years now and yea, if you're not that bad at math, you found out he's not my dad.
Maybe that's the reason why the thought of her getting married to him puts me in some sort of a sad mind palace (If you got that "mind palace" thing, we should deffo become friends).
I even started crying when she told me about it. Very mature, aren't I?
It's just like.. I've always been more of a "daddy's girl", tbh.
But unlike the common definition of a "daddy's girl" I'm neither "spoilt" nor "bratty". I just get along well with him whereas I'm constantly arguing with my mother and this has been going on for years (even my 7th.10th grade teacher noticed it oops) so this prolly led to me hiding my feelings and I even stopped talking to her for a while. I even moved in with my dad for a few months.
But after crying in front of her about the wedding and everything that had been on my heart for so long things got better.
Kinda unbelievable haha

I could also talk about that guy that broke my heart last year.

He's the biggest load of f*ckin bullf*ck ever.
Even my best friend hates him after all this stuff.
Haha done.

This is one thing I've learnt after he had left my life:
Never ever trust a guy.
Don't tell him you love him until you're 100% sure he's THE one.
And even if you think you're 100% sure, you probably aren't.

And you should always keep one thing in your mind:
if you're ever feeling down because of school, friends, love etc and you just feel like crying:
Cry.
It's not a sign of weakness, it actually relieves you.
Cry as long as you want, dry your tears and find something that makes you happy.
It could be something small like having a coffee at Costa or Starbucks with your closest friend (or even alone! It's not too bad to do something on your own) or just taking a walk and listening to music or you could save some money and do something you've always wanted to do. Ever wanted to go to Paris for a few days? Do it.
Just don't necessarily skip school for this. Wait until you're on holidays haha

So that's it for today.
The next posts will be my original "theme" again.
Either a recipe or a review. Not sure yet haha

Hope you guys have/had a wonderful day and remember:
If you ever need someone to talk, I'm always online :)

x

// Still Alive

Hi Internet!

I hope everyone survived Valentine's Day.
It's actually that day of the year I hate the most just because I don't see the point of it.
Like, if you love someone you should be able to show it everyday not just on this particular day.
But that's just my opinion. I spent Saturday cleaning my room.
So no love for me haha

Anyway, I'm ill once again.
My cousin came over the other day and she took her two daughters with her and the youngest had the flu or something and my mum was ill the day after they were here and now, about one week later it seems to be my turn. Ugh.
I stayed at home today and I'll probably do the same tomorrow as school was a torture yesterday and I feel like my head is going to explode and I'm just not feeling well in general.
That's why I rather stay at home for 2-3 days and try to cure this than go to school and end up sick for 3 weeks which would be really unfortunate as I'm going to Glasgow in 18 days (!!!! SO EXCITED :D) and I really don't want to miss this trip.
I bought myself some tulips yesterday. Yea, I buy myself flowers. But I just needed something to cheer me up a bit and tulips are my fave flowers.
So what I did all day was staying in bed, taking some pics of those pretty tulips, drinking tea, reading a book and watching TV with my mum.
I shouldn't have gotten downstairs to watch TV tho. I'm feeling worse now :C

What I've planned for this blog during the next weeks are some makeup reviews, a few recipes (like smoothie recipes, cakes, etc :) ) and a "Let's get ready for Glasgow" post.
And of course a huuuuuge post about Glasgow once I'm back at home. Maybe I'll even film a new YouTube video as I really miss being active on there haha

That's all for now, hope you guys make it through the flunami.

X
